The main difference between the GK3 and GK3 Pro lies in the light source. The GK3 uses a 405 nm UV light source, while the GK3 Pro is equipped with a 385 nm UV light source. The shorter wavelength of the GK3 Pro allows for more precise control when curing resin, resulting in finer details and better print accuracy. Furthermore, the GK3 uses an nFEP film and the GK3 Pro uses a CPFA film.
16K display
With the optimised 16K display, you can admire every detail of your prints. The innovative "Dyed Polariser" ensures a 12% improvement in light transmission at 385 nm UV light and increases contrast by an impressive 21%. It can also withstand temperatures of up to 100 °C, which not only maximises the light output but also significantly increases the durability of the screen.
385 nm UV light source from COB & Fresnel collimator lens
Precision is key, and with the 385 nm UV light source you gain absolute control over your prints. Compared to conventional 405 nm wavelengths, the shorter light offers a lower penetration depth, allowing the finest edges and details to be cured razor-sharp. This reduces overexposure and scattering losses, while significantly increasing the optical quality and accuracy of your models. Perfect results - layer by layer!
