The Raspberry Pi Infrared NoIR Camera (12 MP) is a custom add-on for the Raspberry Pi. This module is a high quality 12 megapixel Sony IMX708 image sensor with a focusing lens. The camera can easily capture still images of 4608 x 2592 pixels and also supports 1080p 50, 720p 100 and 640x480p 120 video. The board is only 25 x 24 x 11.5 mm and weighs only 4 grams, making it perfect for small and light projects. Connect this module to your Raspberry Pi with a short ribbon cable using one of the small connectors on the top of the board. The dedicated CSi interface is specially designed for cameras. All software is supported with the latest version of the Raspbian Operating System. The Raspberry Pi Infrared NoIR Camera is ideal to use for CCTV security cameras, motion detection and time lapse photography.
