Construction
The Flsun Q5 consists of a sturdy triangular aluminium frame with a matte black coating and yellow slot covers. The stepper motors that drive the sliders via a belt are located in the upper part. Thanks to the use of TMC2208 Drivers, the printer is quieter. The power supply and motherboard are located in the upper part of the printer. In general, delta printers are more difficult to calibrate than cartesian printers, but calibration of the Flsun Q5 comes with a handy calibration tool to facilitate this process. This tool has a magnetic strip, which makes it easy to apply and remove. The printer is also equipped with thermal runaway protection.
