This E3D Volcano nozzle has a 1.0mm opening and is ideal for printing tall layers with 1.75mm filament. The nozzle is made of copper alloy for optimum thermal properties. Copper will conduct heat 3x better than brass. The alloy makes it possible to heat even above 500°C without softening the metal of the nozzle.
The high-quality copper nozzle achieves very high throughput and printing speeds, thanks to the large melting zone and the perfectly shaped tip. Volcano nozzles are suitable for use in combination with the Volcano heater block.
