The copper plated E3D Volcano upgrade set improves the performance of a printer's hotend. Thanks to the copper plating, the hotend can easily be heated up to 285°C with an expandability of up to 500°C. An additional advantage of copper plating is that the heat conductivity is three times higher than that of brass. This means that the relative retention of heat is three times greater. This ensures that there is a more constant temperature, which promotes the flow of filament.
The kit includes a copper plated heating block, mounting kit, 0.8mm copper plated 1.75 or 2.85mm nozzle, 30W standard 24v heating element, Thermistor cartridge along with an extension cable, thermal paste and a cable tie.
