The copper plated E3D Volcano upgrade set improves the performance of a printer's hotend. Thanks to the copper plating, the hotend can easily be heated up to 285ᵒC with an expandability of up to 500ᵒC. An additional advantage of copper plating is that the heat conductivity is three times higher than that of brass. This means that the relative retention of heat is three times greater. This ensures that there is a more constant temperature, which promotes the flow of filament.
Kit includes copper plated heating pad, mounting kit, 0.8mm copper plated 1.75 nozzle, 30W standard 12v heating element, Thermistor cartridge along with extension lead, thermal paste and cable tie.
