Duet3D's Duet 3 mainboard 6XD v.10 is designed to interface with most common external stepper and servo motor drivers. In addition, the mainboard provides opto-isolated input and output connections for some GPIO functions. This makes interfacing with a PLC control system easy. The Duet 3 mainboard is directly accessible over the network in stand-alone mode (via the Ethernet port). It also has the option of using an SBC (Single Board Computer) for control.
