The red Ultrafuse® TPC 45D filament is 1.75mm wide and has the right flexibility for most FDM printers. This material has a shore hardness of 45D and is made of Arnitel®Eco, which combines the best properties of rubbers and polyesters. The ideal printing temperature is 230°C to 250°C. For best results, use a heated bed of maximum 30°C and place the mouthpiece very close to the bed.
TPC is an extra flexible material, which is especially suitable for printing flexible parts such as miniature tires, drive belts and bracelets. Other advantages of TPC filament are improved elastic performance and the 50% smaller ecological footprint (compared to other co-polyesters). In addition, this material provides excellent adhesion on the Z-axis, so that the printed layers do not detach even under extreme deformation.
Please note: printers with a 'push' system cannot process Ultrafuse TPC 45D, because this type of filament is so flexible. We recommend using this product in a 'pull' printer.
