Bronze filament from the Metal series of 123-3d.co.uk contains about 80% bronze. The filament is based on PLA, but is about three times heavier. 3D printed objects have the look & feel of real bronze: they feel cool and solid.
3D printing with bronze filament is problem-free with both a Direct and Bowden extruder (nozzle diameter of at least 0.50mm). Objects printed with bronze can be easily reworked, sanded and polished for an even more beautiful appearance.
Note: Filament with metal particles does not produce a stronger or electrically conductive object; but it does give the 3D object a very natural metallic look. We recommend the use of a hardened steel nozzle for this filament.
