The Pololu A4988 stepper motor driver drives a bipolar stepper motor and has a maximum output current of 2.2A when cooled.
Properties:
- Simple step control interface
- 5 Step resolutions: full step, 1/2 step, 1/4 step, 1/8 step, 1/16 step
- Adjustable current output for achieving higher step speeds above the rated voltage of the stepper motor
- Intelligent control to automatically switch to the correct power decay: fast decay or slow decay
- Automatic shutdown in case of too high temperatures or too high currents
- Supplied with all surface-mount components, including A4988 driver
