The Arduino MEGA2560 clone is a microcontroller board, based on the ATmega2560. This board has:
- 54 x digital input/output pins (of which 14 are suitable for PWM outputs);
- 16 x analogue inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports)
- 16MHz crystal oscillator
- Flash memory 256kB (8kB already in use by the bootloader)
- Micro USB connection
- Power jack
- ICSP header
- Reset button
The microcontroller board can be connected via micro-usb, an AC-DC adapter or a battery. This board is compatible with most shields designed for the Arduino Mega Duemilanove or Diecim. The Arduino Atmega 2560 clone features a CH340G USB-to-Serial chip.
