The Arduino MEGA2560 clone is a microcontroller board, based on the ATmega2560. This board has:
- 54 x Digital input/output pins (of which 14 are suitable for PWM outputs)
- 16 x Analogue inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports)
- 16MHz crystal oscillator
- Flash Memory 256KB (8KB already in use by the bootloader)
- USB connection
- Power jack
- ICSP header
- Reset button
The microcontroller board can be connected via USB, an AC-DC adapter or a battery. This board is compatible with most shields designed for the Arduino, Mega Duemilanove or Diecim. The Arduino Atmega 2560 clone features a CH340G USB-to-Serial chip.
